HexArmor® voted as Oil and Gas Awards finalist in the Health and Safety Initiative of the Year
HexArmor® was nominated for the Oil and Gas Awards in July, and was recently awarded a spot as a finalist in the Health and Safety Initiative of the Year Category for the midcontinent region. We are thrilled to be recognized as a part of the oil and gas safety family – our goal is to provide products that keep hands safe, and service that keeps companies and employees educated about their PPE.
The Oil and Gas Awards were launched in 2012 as a means of highlighting the public interest initiatives of an industry that is often criticized. The prominence and importance of the oil and gas industry is often overlooked, and these awards were created to showcase the environmental, health and safety, and community concerns and efforts of that companies work towards every day.
The judging panel this year, as stated on the Oil and Gas Awards website, will be made up of an “even broader mix of E&P, midstream and comprehensive oilfield service company employees, community stakeholders, independent experts, and respected industry veterans.”
Companies have been nominated from all over the globe for their outstanding service and efforts. The winners will be announced throughout the month of October. The winner from the midcontinent region, the one HexArmor® has been nominated in, will be announced October 29, at the midcontinent Oil and Gas Awards Gala in Oklahoma City.
