What an exciting time for 3M! This summer we’re celebrating 40 years of effort to make 3M a great place for women to work. 
 
Although our efforts are nowhere near over, the past 40 years have been marked by real progress, including greater numbers of women in 3M overall and in leadership roles, more flexible work schedules and family-oriented benefits, and encouraging more young women to enter STEM fields.
 
At the top of the company and throughout our leadership teams worldwide, we are taking action to build a more diverse workforce and inclusive environment. I see real interest and passion among our people to be involved. And it’s more than sentiment or even policy –new programs and improved processes underpin this positive change.
