Funding that supports First Nations, Metis Communities, and Aboriginal Organizations to assist in the following:
 
  • Build capacity
  • Develop business partnerships
  • Improve econimic opportunities
  • Create jobs
 
How it works
 
Two types of funding are available:
 
  • Core Consultation Capacity Funding: helps First Nations and Metis Communities consult and engage with governments and the private sector on land and resource matter. 
  • Enhanced Capacity Building Funding: supports projects that build the capacity of First Nations, Metis Communities and Aboriginal organizations to work with the government and particiapte in economic development activities.
