Funding that supports First Nations, Metis Communities, and Aboriginal Organizations to assist in the following:
- Build capacity
- Develop business partnerships
- Improve econimic opportunities
- Create jobs
How it works
Two types of funding are available:
- Core Consultation Capacity Funding: helps First Nations and Metis Communities consult and engage with governments and the private sector on land and resource matter.
- Enhanced Capacity Building Funding: supports projects that build the capacity of First Nations, Metis Communities and Aboriginal organizations to work with the government and particiapte in economic development activities.
