Noise Analysis

Measurement of sound levels to reduce noise

Aug 4, 2014

Noise is dangerous and can lead to irreparable loss of hearing. According to law, machine manufacturers must provide information on noise radiation from their machines and specify the emission values in the product documentation.

Our specialists conduct acoustic emission measurements and compare the results with the state of the art. If necessary, they recommend suitable noise reduction measures.

Mobile short-term measurements and measurements over an extended period with a stationary PRÜFTECHNIK condition monitoring system (temporary telediagnosis - TTS):
• Independent acoustic consultation by the PRÜFTECHNIK Service & Diagnostic Center.
• Use of state-of-the-art measurement hardware (VIBXPERT signal analyzer and microphone).
• Measurement and analysis of third octave band, octave band, sound pressure level, sound power level, acoustic emissions.
• Identification of the causes of noise.
Recommendations for active and passive noise reduction.
Certified specialists (ISO 18436-2).
