Our experienced polymer machinists machine high quality, complex plastic parts. CNC Router, CNC Lathe, Waterjet, Laser, and high quality craftsmanship all combine to machine your parts. We take your concepts or drawings and produce high tolerance finished parts, manufactured assemblies, plastic fabrications, truck and trailer liners, drop in hoppers to bulk material lining systems from start to finish.

 

CNC Router

Router capabilities: Plastruct operates a number of CNC routers to accomplish a wide range of applications across many industries. High horsepower main drive routers with multiple spindles and heavy duty drive motors create a stable environment to produce quality parts quickly and cost effectively. Precision CNC Routing table programing uses high tolerance continuous calibration technology to cut intricate parts. The over-size table format has a maximum part width of 84” and maximum part length of 624” long, one of the largest in the industry! Thicknesses up to 4” are machined on our outers with heavier material going to the waterjet machine.

 

 

 

 

CNC Lathe

Lathe capabilities: CNC lathes are utilized to turn polymer rod or tube into finished parts. As most CNC lathes are built for machining steel they are usually very stable machines that are overdesigned from a stability factor for machining plastics. Effective pre-programming aids in completing an efficient cycle for high production parts. The diamtere and length of base polymer rod required will determine which machine will be utilized. We offer machining up to 12” diameter and a length of 36”.

 

 

 

 


 

CNC Panel Sizing

Our panel sizing equipment cuts up to 4.5” thick of any polymer material. Our auto-loading machines assist the operator to enable efficient production. Many times our
production staff will book or stack product to cut many sheets at one time. Our panel sizing saws can cut up to 14.5 feet in length and 12 feet in length.

 


 

CNC Polymer Fusion Welding:

Not many machines like this in North America; we have the unique ability to CNC weld polymer panels together. This is especially helpful when manufacturing oversize fabrications. It also eliminates expensive mill runs of odd or unusually large plastic panels sizes. Our CNC welder can effectively fusion weld up to 1.50” thick material to an almost full material strength.

 

 

 


 

CNC WaterJet Cutting:

High-pressure waterjet machining also offers unique advantages over other cutting technologies allowing the user to cut highly accurate parts with excellent finish and no heat affected edge. Through the basic principle that a focused beam of water at a very high velocity, upwards of 60,000 psi. has tremendous cutting power, the waterjet machine is ideal for difficult to cut materials.
