Our History
In 1953, two young men—college friends and naval officers—shared a dream of owning their own business. With chemical engineering backgrounds, both Wayne Brock and George White understood the chemistry of products and the importance of knowing what worked best in a given situation. Capitalizing on this knowledge, they developed The Brock White Company in 1954 in Minneapolis, MN. The aim of Brock White, for more than 60 years, has been to provide not only the products and materials construction professionals need, but also to provide the expertise to guide their purchasing decisions. Now, with 30 locations throughout the Upper Midwest and Canada, Brock White is proud to be the construction industry's first choice for building materials, knowledge, and service.
