Time-Tested, Proven Values

Teamwork. Integrity. Respect. These are the values that got us off to a great start more than a quarter of a century ago and are the same values on which Tervita is building a promising future.

We began as a one-rig operation known as Concord Well Servicing, co-founded by Chairman of the Board David P. Werklund in 1979. Several years later, in 1984, he made another astute investment in an oilfield service company in northern Alberta, which became CCS Corporation, our predecessor company.

Today, Tervita has more than 4,600 employees and the industry's most comprehensive array of environmental and waste management services. This remarkable record of sustained growth is a testament to David's philosophy of "empowering our people" and creating a workplace where innovation and a solutions-oriented, entrepreneurial spirit rules.
