Paul Muller
Chief Executive Officer
Paul holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree with over 20 years experience in the mining industry working for both mining service providers and mine owners in Australia, Asia and Africa. Prior to joining Barminco, Paul held the position of Executive General Manager – Asia and Africa for Thiess and has also held senior roles at Consolidated Minerals, BHP and Leighton Contractors. Paul is also a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Mick Radi
Chief Operating Officer, Australasia
Mick holds a Bachelor of Mining Engineering degree with over 19 years experience in hard rock underground mining in Australia, Egypt, India and Bulgaria. Mick has previously worked within Barminco as Project Manager, Operations Manager, General Manager Operations and General Manager Growth. He holds a WA Shift Supervisors Certificate and First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate Competency.

Blair Sessions
Chief Operating Officer, Africa and North America
Blair holds a Bachelor of Mining Engineering degree with over 23 years experience in the mining industry, principally in hard rock underground mining in Australia, Africa and Asia. Blair has previously worked within Barminco as Project Manager, Operations Manager and General Manager. Most recently Blair’s role was the Chief Operating Officer of African Underground Mining Services, the Joint Venture Company between Barminco and Ausdrill, prior to the company’s consolidation. He holds a WA Shift Supervisors Certificate and First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate Competency.

Peter Campain
General Manager, Plant
Peter holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree and a Masters of Business and Technology with over 30 years experience in asset management and maintenance in Australia, Egypt, India, Tanzania, Ghana, Mali and Burkina Faso. Prior to joining Barminco, Peter held the position of Maintenance Manager at Consolidated Minerals and has also held senior roles at MacMahon and Combined Resource Engineering.

Darren Kwok
General Manager, Technology and Innovation
Darren holds a Bachelor of Management and Marketing degree and has over 10 years experience in developing and implementing technology strategy in the automotive and mining industries. Prior to joining Barminco, Darren held the position of Executive General Manager for MacDonald Holdings.

Craig Earnshaw
General Manager, Commercial and Legal
Craig holds Bachelor degrees in Law and Commerce with over 12 years legal, commercial and company secretarial experience in private practice and the resources and construction industries. Prior to joining Barminco, Craig held the position of Corporate Counsel at RCR Tomlinson Limited. Craig is also a Member of the Law Society of Western Australia, the Australian Corporate Lawyers Association and the Australian Mining and Petroleum Law Association and holds a Graduate Diploma in Corporate Governance.

Jim Gawith
General Manager, Growth
Jim holds a Bachelor of Mining and Engineering and as Barminco’s General Manager Growth, is focused on driving business growth and seeking new opportunities for our team, whilst maintaining strong relationships with our existing clients. He has over 20 years experience in the mining industry, with a background in mining engineering, contract and mine management and has previously worked in a range of operations roles across Australia.

Fred Pilot
General Manager, Finance
Fred holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Accounting with over 12 years experience in the mining services industries in Australia and Africa. He first joined the company in 2007 and prior to this appointment worked in various finance positions both at site and head office. More recently he was the Group Commercial Officer for the Underground operations in Africa. Fred is a Member of Chartered Accountants, Australia and New Zealand.

Andy Bell
General Manager, Human Resources
Andy holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, a Masters of Business Administration and a Postgraduate Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety. He has 14 years’ experience working for mining services providers and mine owners both in Australia, Central and Southern Africa and South-East Asia. Andy is a Human Resources Generalist with extensive experience leading HR functions in challenging operating environments. Most recently, he was engaged by a top-tier global miner to lead an organisational design review process and workforce modelling process.
