Our Methodology

Providing accuracy and validity in an age of “information overload”

Oct 15, 2015
Industrial Info’s philosophy has always been to directly validate market intelligence before offering it to our clients. IIR does not offer a static snapshot of market intelligence––we maintain the quality of our intelligence by continually refreshing and updating existing data, providing the most accurate and up–to–date industrial market intelligence available.

The Information Age has radically altered today’s business climate. “Information overload” is the result and is forcing companies to become more qualitative rather than quantitative in their market intelligence needs. This trend inspired Industrial Info to design and develop our “Focus Marketing” business strategy, which replaces older, traditional information-gathering methodologies with a direct-research approach.

The old paradigm is based on a “more is better” philosophy––a marketing strategy that overwhelms companies with so much data that they have neither the time nor the resources to filter out the information that is relevant to their business needs. Typical information companies fail to offer the accuracy and the validity desired by the end user, who must spend large amounts of time and effort to qualify the available information.
