Ambershaw’s DR-grade pellets will be manufactured using proven and tested equipment, engineered and adapted to accommodate our specific ore requirements. The cold pelleting process removes the need for extreme heat and requires significantly less Capex and Opex compared to standard iron ore pelleting methods.

 

Legacy Hill’s proprietary technology, in each of its unique cold pelleting and cold briquetting processes, removes the need for large volumes of deleterious binding materials. Our cold pellets require less than 0.3% binder material and our cold briquettes less than 0.5% of binder material. Both processes use only harmless organic polymers.

 

Environmental benefit: Cold pelletisation substantially reduces energy costs and emissions associated with other processing techniques.
