DragonWear® PRO DRY® technology provides superior wicking action that keeps you dry when you sweat, so you stay comfortable no matter how tough the conditions.

 

We also focused on providing a soft next-to-skin feeling with rugged odor resistance, because we know that sometimes you’re wearing clothing in the field for hours on end and working up a sweat. When that’s the case, you can’t afford anything that doesn’t offer extreme comfort and long-lasting wearability.

 

PRO DRY® products are broken out into two types: CAT 1, used in short sleeve shirts and long sleeve pocket shirts, and CAT 2, used in long sleeve shirts other than the pocket shirt.

 

CAT 1 fabric was developed for the U.S. Military and is exclusive to DragonWear’s industrial safety market. The fabric is made from an exclusive, inherent tri-fiber fabric blend with nylon for superior durability and moisture management. We craft this fabric blend into a jersey knit, which is engineered for comfort stretch and breathability. Add in Silver Plus™ anti-odor protection, and you have an ideal next-to-skin layer that complies with ASTM F1506 Specifications.

 

CAT 2 fabric is crafted from an exclusive, inherent tri-fiber fabric blend with para-aramid fibers for superior durability and FR protection. These aramid fibers are what give our fabrics their flame resistance, and this fabric complies to ASTM F1506 Specifications and is NFPA 2112 Certified. Built into a double knit fabric construction, it is made for stretch and breathability, like CAT 1. Our CAT 2 dual hazard shirts, with their superior moisture management and breathability, are the ideal daily wear shirt to wear every day.
