Gary Mostyn named Nexans 2018 Salesman of the Year
On January 17th, Nexans recognized our own Gary Mostyn as 2018 Salesman of the Year in a ceremony held at the Gaylord Palms in Orlando, Florida. For those of you who know Gary, this is no surprise. Gary has been a calm and steady presence in our mining group for 21 years and played a big role in making Tiger® Brand the number one mining cable in North America. Since Gary came on board, AmerCable has never failed to renew a coal mining blanket.
At the event, Paul Davis, AmerCable’s vice president of Sales and Marketing, commended Gary for his commitment to the mining division while Steven Vermeulen, Nexans Executive Vice President Americas, praised his team leadership skills and commitment to customers.
Gary is a member of the National Mining Association ad hoc committee for MINExpo, an advocate for US coal and metal/non-metal mining and an avid golfer.
