S.W.A.T

Specialized Watson Assessment Team

Oct 31, 2013
S.W.A.T members will perform assessments of all potential exposure areas through on-site physical inspection, followed up with written recommendations for maintaining a safe work environment.

S.W.A.T Members

• Assess your operations and examine glove usage throughout the facilities to determine potential opportunities for improvement
• Help the client identify best practices that can be implemented throughout the facility and across multiple sites.
• While on-site, SWAT members conduct meetings, interview management and key employees to determine glove usage, job responsibilities and training. This can be done in collaboration with your personnel.

Why S.W.A.T Assessments

• The goal of this assessment is to help companies protect workers and make the best use of all available hand protection options for their specific applications. It also involves looking at each specific area of the clients operation and assessing needs specific to that area:
• What gloves are currently being used?
• What are the costs associated with hand protection?
• What is the injury rate and the cost of these injuries to the employer and employee in lost workdays, efficiency, etc?
• What can be done to improve safety, efficiency, and overall cost (short, mid, and long term)?
(Research has shown that glove use can reduce hand injuries by 20 percent.)

S.W.A.T Results

Worker safety goes beyond employees “just putting on gloves”. It involves identifying critical application factors, training employees about proper glove use, providing workers with adequate access to glove products, and considering how any changes will impact worker productivity. From recommendations to implementation S.W.A.T services can provide the very best assessment and implementation program for your glove needs. It is important to properly fit workers with gloves that are correct for the specific jobs, prevent injuries, while maintaining the highest quality in the work place.
