Layfield Environmental Containment follows a documented safety program for all aspects of our operations. In Canada, Layfield Environmental Containment carries a Certificate of Recognition (COR) for its registered safety program. This program is regularly audited for compliance.
 
In the US, our written safety program follows the requirements of the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health (Cal/OSHA).
 
Regular safety meetings are held at all job sites, and staff are trained in First Aid, WHMIS, Confined Space Entry, H2S Safety, and other job specific requirements.
 
Layfield Environmental Containment evaluates all new employees for medical fitness before hiring. Layfield has a drug and alcohol policy that applies to all employees.
