APPLIED PROJECTS
 
Designed To Be Intense - Like The Real World
Business students participate in an intensive project for an industry partner that requires a broad range of applied and project management skills. This comprehensive experience can last anywhere from one semester to a full year. Teams provide innovative solutions for diverse organizations in a variety of sectors including small companies, international enterprises, not-for-profit and social service organizations.
 
COMMON FIRST YEAR IN THE SCHOOL OF BUSINESS
 
Our core business programs share a common first year of study which allows you to seamlessly transfer to another program at the end of your first or second semester. (Accounting programs share a common first semester.) You can move into a different business specialty, fully prepared to build on the essential skills acquired in year one. Explore your options in:

We have a pathway to the accounting career that best suits your skills and aspirations:
 
  • Complete the two-year program and obtain entry-level employment
  • Gain additional applied experience in the third-year of the advanced program
 
OR
 
2 Years at College + 2 Years at University
Our agreement with Trent University allows students to complete a Business Administration – Specialization in Accounting degree and their Fleming Accounting diploma in just four years. Fleming Accounting grads can also obtain their B.Comm. (Honours) at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology with two additional years of study. Senior Purchasing Officer

The Senior Purchasing Officer is an agent authorized by the College to commit College funds to outside suppliers under the general direction of the Director, Purchasing. 

Manager, Domestic & International Admissions

Reporting to the Associate Registrar, Admissions and Financial Aid, the Manager, Domestic & International Admissions is accountable for providing operational and administrative leadership, supervision, and direction to full-time and part-time staff within the Admissions area of the Registrar’s Office (RO).

Manager, Accessible Education Services

This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Accessible Education Services portfolio, including providing leadership and direction for all staff working in the area of Accessible Education Services (AES) as well as student initiated accessibility human rights case management.

Project Manager, Funded Projects

The position will be accountable for planning, developing, marketing, implementation, administration and support operations of the assigned funded project(s) within the Continuing Education and Contract Training Department.
