Service

Why get your equipment serviced?
Ongoing maintenance is crucial in ensuring your equipment operates as efficiently as possible. External factors, such as the ones listed below, affect the quality and performance of your equipment:
• Wear and tear with use
• Bumps and knocks during transit
• Large changes in operating temperature

Regular servicing is highly recommended to ensure your equipment remains in excellent condition. With our large pool of expertise, we can also service most equipment even if it was never sold by Cansel.

How often should I have my equipment serviced?
Performing regular maintenance according to our recommended maintenance schedule is the best way to keep your equipment working in optimal condition and ensuring its longevity.

Optical instruments
Product: Robotic or Conventional Total Stations, Theodolites, Auto-levels, and more
Recommended maintenance schedule: Annual calibration and servicing
Measurement errors will change over time, due to the factors listed above. In addition, we recommend having optical instruments serviced:
• After any accidental knock or drop
• If gross changes in accuracy or performance are observed
• Prior to a project requiring the highest accuracies and/or up-to-date certification

Laser levels and locators
Recommended maintenance schedule: Annual calibration and servicing

In addition, we recommend having laser levels and locators serviced:
• After any accidental knock or drop
• If gross changes in performance are observed
• Prior to a project requiring the highest performance and up-to-date-certification
