Timmins West Complex

The Timmins West Complex is located approximately 18 kilometres west of Timmins, Ontario around the junction of highways 101 and 144. The Complex includes a total land package covering 130 square kilometres and includes a number of key geological trends, most notably the TC-144 Trend and the Gold River Trend, each covering approximately 6 kilometres in length. The Timmins West is located along the TC-144 trend and includes the Timmins Deposit and Thunder Creek Deposit. Production. The Gold River project is located approximately three kilometres to the south Timmins West Mine and runs along the Gold River Trend. The 144 exploration is located directly adjacent to the Thunder Creek Deposit.

In this position, you will be responsible for supervising all mine engineering staff and managing all mine functions at the Timmins West Mine to maximize the operation’s performance in a safe manner. 

Geotechnical Engineer

The role of the Geotechnical Engineer will be to work closely with the engineering and operational teams on site to provide and implement sound engineering and rock mechanics principles that will ensure stability of stopes and excavations with minimal dilution and ground failure.
