The Sika sustainability initiatives affect the internal organization as well as its external environment. They are aligned according;to a set of worldwide megatrends and encompass three dimensions: Market and Financial, Environment and Safety as well as Social and Ethical. Sika will continuously monitor its activities and its behavior to meet obligations, find ways to improve the well-being of the organization, the environment and; our people to cope with; Sika's social responsibility vis-à-vis shareholders, competitors, suppliers and the general public.

Current Sika sustainability initiatives center predominantly on:
• Developing and promoting sustainable solutions for buildings, infrastructure and vehicles
• Reducing consumption of energy and raw materials
• Reducing our impact on global warming
• Reducing our consumption of water
• Complying with commonly accepted standards of social responsibility

For Sika, sustainability is more than a target to attain; it is a continuous and far-reaching process, encompassing the company in its entirety. More than a status, it is rather a journey than a destination.
