Environmental Monitoring

Story Environmental Inc. conducts environmental monitoring work for a wide range of industrial, municipal, and residential clients.  Most often, this work focuses on monitoring of surface and ground water, but SEI also has significant experience sampling air and soil.  Typically monitoring studies are required to ensure compliance with existing regulations, but in some situations clients simply want to understand the environmental quality of a particular medium (e.g., drinking water or indoor air quality).

We conduct work in the following areas:

• Measurement and monitoring of hydraulic gradients and water flows/movement in both the surface and subsurface;

• Collection of groundwater and surface water samples according to our Standard Operating Procedures;

• Collection of drinking water samples from businesses or private residences for submission to accredited laboratories;

• Collection of soil samples according to our Standard Operating Procedures;

• Indoor air quality monitoring for business, municipalities, and private residents and;

• Outdoor air quality and sound level monitoring for industry.
