Dear Fountain Tire Guy, how are you?

I’m not really prepared to answer that question. Next!

Dear Fountain Tire guy, have you always been funny?

No. In my youth, I was quite gloomy. My parents sent me to camp where I underwent experimental immersion-therapy in order to get in touch with my inner jokester. There were certain long-termside effects, however. I tend to break out in hives whenever I see a clown or a seltzer bottle.

Dear Fountain Tire guy, what’s your favourite movie?

A soon-to-be-released gem called Casablanca II: Falcon’s Revenge. It’s kind of a light romantic comedy / cop-buddy action flick. It’ll be great once I finish it. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll scratch your head and ask, “Good lord, why?!”

Dear Fountain Tire guy, I want to get into advertising. Any advice?

First you have to ask yourself, “Do I have what it takes?” “Do I have inner strength, a clear artistic vision and a strong moral centre?” If so, you’re not really the advertising type.

Dear Fountain Tire guy, do you have any nicknames?

“El Pollo Loco”. Long story.

Dear Fountain Tire Guy, read any good books lately?

Yeah, I re-read an old journal after digging it out of a box in the attic. This passage really stood out: “December 31, 1979: I cannot wait for the 1980s!!! Just imagine how we’ll finally be able to put all of this selfish me-first mentality behind us and focus on what really matters.” Amazingly accurate, no?

Dear Fountain Tire guy, what one word sums you up?

Verbose.

Dear Fountain Tire guy. My room-mate is a slob and I don’t know what to do. Any advice?

A simple chore wheel might help, as it would divide responsibilities equally between the two of you. You could also ask my friend Knuckles Paesano to step in. He’s very persuasive.

To find a man who listens. To find a man who is caring, thoughtful, and romantic with a sense of humour and a head of thick, lustrous hair. Wait, did you say “wife’s ambition” or “life’s ambition”?
