Training Centre of Excellence

Jan 29, 2021

The Lac Seul Training Centre of Excellence is a training facility based in Hudson, Ontario that has the goal of providing quality, certified training programs and workshops to members of Lac Seul First Nation and the people of Northwestern Ontario, in a culturally adaptable learning environment.

With more and more employment opportunities becoming available to Lac Seul First Nation members, our aim is to prepare and certify our students for careers in the mining, construction, forestry, hospitality, and resource industries, through supportive training programs and workshops that will give them the skills they need in order to succeed in the workforce.

Our overall goal is to establish a sustainable, supportive, not-for-profit training centre that focuses on preparing and certifying individuals for a variety of careers in Northwestern Ontario and beyond, while at the same time helping to build capacity within Lac Seul First Nation and regional Aboriginal communities.
