As announced in the National Post October 9, Jane Pagel, OCWA’s President and CEO, has been named to Diversity 50 2013, Canada’s list of top board-ready candidates .
 
Created in 2012 by the Canadian Board Diversity Council (CBDC) in collaboration with Governance Metrics International, a leading independent provider of global corporate governance ratings, Diversity 50 is a list of men and women from across Canada with strong competencies that align with the requirements of Canadian boards through a stringent selection process. This list aims to be the definitive resource for Corporate Canada.
 
The CBDC is the leading Canadian organization advancing diversity on Canada’s boards. The Council’s selection criteria expands the traditional definition of industry experience, management experience, educational background, functional area of expertise, geography and age to also include such factors as ethnicity, gender, and Aboriginal status. Diversity 50 represents the greater diversity of the Canadian population.
