2020 brings a first for Xplor
Summer and its vacations have certainly looked different this year, and now they’re coming to an end. People are going back to work and school and starting to plan their fall. We know that our industry sees the fall as an opportunity to get together, network, take stock, and plan the future of mineral exploration.
Naturally, the pandemic has brought a new set of challenges, and we’ve all had to make adjustments. Gatherings of hundreds or even thousands of people aren’t safe right now, because the risk of spreading COVID-19 is too great. For that reason, the QMEA will be holding a virtual convention this year for the first time!
SEE YOU OCTOBER 19–23, 2020!
The QMEA and Xplor 2020’s official presenter, Chrono Aviation, would like to invite you to our first-ever virtual convention. All of our activities, like the three days of conferences and the Recognition Award ceremony, will be held online. This new format will include blocks of high-quality conferences where you can connect and attend no matter where you are!
Under the circumstances, a trade show isn’t in the cards for this year, but we know we’ll be able to see you all again next year! We hope to see everyone at the Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth for Xplor 2021.
Due to recent events, booth reservations for the 2020 edition will be held until next year, under the same conditions. We will get in touch with exhibitors once preparations for Xplor 2021 begin.
