AGAT LAB OPERATIONS to REMAIN “OPEN “ as an ESSENTIAL SERVICE throughout COVID-19 CRISIS
This letter is an updated amendment to the communication you saw circulated by AGAT Laboratories yesterday in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic. At that time we were being proactive to the information at hand which, as you can imagine, remains very fluid during this crisis.
This evening we received legal notification of what constitutes ESSENTIAL SERVICES and we are advised that AGAT’s diverse operations constitute “Essential services “.
We are writing to correct OUR EARLIER CORRESPONDENCE OF YESTERDAY and point out that AGAT’s FACILITIES WILL REMAIN “OPEN” THROUGHOUT our 43 locations across CANADA for business in all regions without exception.
AGAT remains committed to working with you and maintaining essential services so that we can help you fulfill your priority needs in the communities where your services and ours are much needed. Our operations will scale down as a matter of course if sample volumes decrease. However, we fully intend to keep the doors open so that our “Service Beyond Analysis” remains intact.
We remain committed to supporting your essential services as our Federal and Provincial governments work towards stabilizing COVID-19. We encourage you to contact our local teams to discuss any essential and/or emergency needs.
