Alemite Offerce New Def Hose Reels
December 5, 2012 – Fort Mill, S.C. – Alemite has introduced its new DEF Hose Reels for delivering diesel exhaust fluid (AUS32, Aqueous Urea Solution). Available in 30-foot and 50-foot capacities, these powder-coated hose reels were engineered for performance, durability and safety.
Featuring a stainless steel shaft and swivel sealed with fluorelastomer o-rings, the DEF Hose Reels have an adjustable guide arm and hose stop to accommodate mounting overhead or on a wall, floor or tank. These units are equipped with a gasket-sealed spring case and balanced pressure swivel. The hose reels have ratchet-type latches and are spring-powered and selfretracting for smooth operation and maximum hose life.
The reels have delivery hose and reel connections of 1/2-inch BSPP, an industry standard thread in DEF applications. Connecting DEF hose and male and female adapters are available separately.
