ALS Secures Chevron Technical Services Contract
Perth, Western Australia. ALS Industrial has secured a five year contract with Chevron Australia Pty Ltd for the provision of technical services to support core maintenance, shutdowns and brownfield projects for the company’s Western Australian-based operational assets.
As a result of this contract, ALS Industrial expects to provide employment opportunities for engineers, inspectors, non-destructive technicians along with contract and operational management personnel. ALS Industrial Group General Manager, Kristen Walsh said this contract is a significant achievement for ALS Industrial.
“ALS Industrial is proud to secure this contract and to have the opportunity to support Australian jobs,” said Ms Walsh.
The Chevron contract continues ALS Industrial’s success of transitioning from the construction phase of LNG Projects into maintenance support having successfully secured the ConocoPhillips APLNG and QGC QCLNG facility contracts earlier this year. ALS Industrial provides asset reliability and integrity solutions to the oil & gas, mining, power and infrastructure industries by integrating the delivery of engineering, inspection and non-destructive testing services with the aim of lowering the total cost of ownership for plant owners.

Laboratory Assistant
The Lab Assistant is responsible for preparing environmental samples for extraction including maintaining adequate production, quality control and turnaround times.
Sample Preparation Technician
Within the Sample Preparation Department, the Sample Preparation Technician will work with client samples and prepare them for analysis in our labs.
Lab Assistant
The Laboratory Assistant will provide support for routine sample analysis following prescribed standard operating procedures.
Peace River Manager
Responsibilities include implementing the corporate direction, vision and goals as well as overseeing the day to day operations of the laboratory operations.
Laboratory Assistant
Full training is provided. The Laboratory Assistant will assist with basic laboratory functions, such as preparing
client samples for analysis and routine lab maintenance.
