Redpath Australia Lands Milestone Raiseboring Contract
Largest single raiseboring contract in the Redpath Group’s 59-year history. Redpath Australia is excited to announce the award of a significant surface raisebore contract in New South Wales, in southeastern Australia. The contract scope involves three Redbore rigs; Redbore 100, Redbore 90EX and Redbore 90. All three rigs are designed and manufactured in North Bay, Canada, and are contracted for eight holes, totalling 5.3 km.

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Superintendent and/or the Project Manager, the primary role of the Mechanical Foreman is the direct supervision the underground and surface mechanical personnel to ensure that all mobile and fixed equipment is maintained, repaired and functioning according to project requirements and safety standards.
The primary role of the Mechanic is to perform preventive maintenance and repairs to diesel, electrical, hydraulic and air operated equipment.
Under the supervision of the Superintendent/ Shift Supervisor, the primary role of a Cagetender is operate mineshaft conveyances which may include skips and/or cages and other devices that are used to move workers and material within the mine shaft safely.
