Since the merger of Glencore and Xstrata, a rebranding of our business in the newly-combined company has been taking place.
The recent edition of the XPS Bulletin was a preview of our new business name, therefore, it should be no surprise that our business will now be known as XPS Consulting and Testwork Services, a Glencore Company.
We are pleased to retain XPS in our name going forward. It maintains a connection with our past and current market recognition that we have worked hard to establish.
Consulting and Testwork Services generically describes our very diverse mix of technical services we provide to customers from exploration projects, mines, mills, smelter plants and equipment vendors from around the world.
XPS is proud to be part of Glencore and look forward to working within this new dynamic organization. Our owner has changed but our mandate remains the same, to deliver high quality, consulting and testwork services, on an independent basis, to our internal and external clients in the global minerals industry.

Process Control (Program) Engineer for Mine Automation & Control
Reporting to the Process Control Group Manager, the Senior Program Engineer will be based at Fraser Mine, Onaping and will oversee, lead and work on the process control programs / projects at both Fraser and Ni Rim South Mine client sites while also providing input to other projects from XPS consulting services to external and internal clients in the metals, mining and processing businesses.
