Award Winners

On Tuesday June 9th 2009, Easter Seals Sudbury District held its Annual General Meeting at Cambrian College. This event is used to recognize some of Easter Seals amazing volunteers and supporters.

Levert Personnel Resources Inc and its staff received 2 awards during this event. Please read below:

Sue Lekun started as an event committee member 3 years ago for Easter Seals Annual Ladies Golf Tournament and quickly moved into a leadership role for this event. Soon after that she was recruited to the Sudbury District Council as the new Chair of Fundraising and has also worked on the Vegas Gala Night Committee.

A strategic thinker, who has helped to move Easter Seals forward in achieving its goals, Sue was a perfect recipient for the Torch Bearer Award. This award is handed out to someone that has provided outstanding leadership to the district, to an event, services and programs.

For her dedication and commitment to Easter Seals, we would like to congratulate her on this award!

Secondly, Richard Levert and Levert Personnel Resources Inc. were the recipients for the Caring Corporate Award. This award is given to a business or corporation that has supported Easter Seals at the local level through the donation of time, talent, donation and sponsorship.

Richard and his staff are always generous not only financially, but also with the gift of time from employees. With contributions to the Telethon, Gala's and Golf Tournaments, a congratulations is surely in order for this as well!
