Boart Longyear Showcases Productivity and Safety During Customer Days in Perú and Chile

LIMA, PERÚ – September 15, 2015 – Boart Longyear showcased advancements in productivity and safety during Customer Days in Perú and Chile in August.
 

The Products teams in Latin America hosted Customer Days for current and prospective Boart Longyear customers to see firsthand the LX™6 multi-purpose geotechnical rig and also celebrate Boart Longyear’s 125th anniversary.

In Perú, the venue was the Peruvian Engineers Mining Institute (Instituto de Ingenieros de Minas del Perú). Many customers from Perú were in attendance as well as customers from Ecuador and Colombia who traveled to attend this event. Over 62 guests attended including customers from construction, geotechnical, and the mining industries.

In Chile, the event took place in Santiago and had 40 guests, all related to the geotechnical industry (customers, government agencies, and distributors).
 

At both events, the Sales Directors, Sergio Cepeda – Perú and Hernan Cubillos – Chile, emphasized Boart Longyear’s global presence and then provided a general overview of Latin America operations. Also presented were the Boart Longyear product lines and the new equipment launches planned over the next few months. Along with the Sales Directors, Capital Equipment Product Manager Greg Guillot, and Parts and Services Manager Christian Smol also presented.
 

In addition to the presentations and food and beverages, guests were also treated to a live demonstration of the LX6 multi-purpose geotechnical rig.
