Continued Growth in Forest Resource Inventory
Sumac continues to grow its Forest Resource Inventory (eFRI) services with the award of 4 new projects from the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry. Sumac has begun work on the 13,814Km2 Black Spruce Forest, 3,056Km2 Dryden Forest, 12,183Km2 Kenora Forest and the 10,585Km2 Whiskey Jack Forest. Work will entail the photo interpretation of 39,638Km2 and the measurement of 7,927 ground calibration plots. Work is expected to be completed in early 2017.
