Aboriginal Contemporary Music Night

Oct 26, 2012
INDI Indigenous Development Inc. presents an Aboriginal Contemporary Music Night in Toronto on Sunday, November 18, 2012.

Hosted by Adam Beach from CBC’s Arctic Air, Aboriginal artists, Jace Martin, Janet Panic and Arthur Renwick, perform at the Revival on November 18, 2012.

The event is sponsored by INDI Indigenous Development Inc., an Aboriginal majority-owned security, first aid and communication company that provides services to hydro, mining, oil, gas, utilities and construction businesses.

Jason Wilson, President of INDI Indigenous Development Inc., says, “It is a great privilege to host a night of contemporary Aboriginal music in downtown Toronto with the best of today’s Aboriginal artists. We planned the event to coincide with the opening of the Canadian Aboriginal Minerals Association’s 20th Anniversary Conference (CAMA). CAMA has a significant role in the positive impact mining can have on Aboriginal communities across Canada.”

Proceeds from the concert will go to the Adam Beach Film Institute, a new organization that mentors Aboriginal youth interested in film, television, media, acting and production.

Wilson said, “We are very excited to promote Aboriginal arts and to support Aboriginal youth by donating the proceeds from the concert to the Adam Beach Film Institute.
