Metis Nation of Ontario

Labour Market Projects

Mar 31, 2014
The Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) has built upon its’ successful labour market programming to establish additional education and training opportunities through Labour Market Projects (LMP). Over the last three years, the MNO has successfully delivered Labour Market Projects in apprenticeships, tourism and hospitality, energy, housing and mining. Through LMPs the MNO has the opportunity to provide focused training in specific areas and sectors where employment opportunities are available or will be available in the near future.

LMPs provide additional opportunities for Métis people to gain skills, education and training that will enable them to obtain employment in a variety of sectors. Opportunities to offer additional LMPs are continually explored, investigated and evaluated to ensure the success of projects.
