Nanotechnology Applied in Civil Construction Materials

Presenter: Prof. Cláudio Ernani Martins Oliveira, Unifei
Description: Professor Claudio Oliveira is a Civil Engineer and has been teaching at the Federal University of Itajubá for 5 years. He has been working with nanotechnology for 2 years and represents LNA, the Applied Nanotechnology Laboratory in Itabira Campus. The group’s most recent research contributions are two patents and one paper on a new method of associating carbon nanotubes and small aggregates as sand and iron ore tailing.
