Ice jam and flood mitigation amid COVID-19 outbreak
While the world deals with the COVID-19 pandemic, Eastern Canada also needs to prepare for potential flooding due to ice jams.
Our administration/management team may get to work from home, but our crews don’t have that luxury. By being out there, they are mitigating flood risks due to ice jams and ensuring people’s residences remain accessible and safe to “weather the storm”.
In doing so, they are helping our fellow Canadians to self-isolate in their own personal “safe havens”, a key element in our collective fight against this virus.
