Three Ply Bolted Oak Mat
• NMB's feature access and lease mat.
• 8' wide x 14' long and 5" thick, made with 100% premium oak.
• Mats are carriage bolted to maximize board holding strength. Carriage bolted mats are able to be picked up in very muddy or frozen conditions without the boards on the bottom layer peeling off.
• Mats interconnect from end to end using a finger joint system. This enables matted roadways and leases to distribute surface loads evenly, minimizing mat slippage to ensure stable and level surface areas.
• Three ply oak mat is one of the strongest and most rigid mats in the industry today. The oak mat can also flex and withstand extremely heavy payloads without breaking.
• Spaces between boards on the top and bottom layer provide non slip surfaces on both sides, as well as allowing air to flow into the mat to increase the rate of drying.
• An access road along planned pipelines allowed pipeliners to travel and work from a matted road in very wet and soft conditions.
• Mats laid on lease allowed drilling rig, equipment and crew to work in soft, muddy conditions. Without the use of the oak matting, this well couldn't have been drilled until the ground was frozen.

Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician (Shop & Field work)
Reporting to the Shop Manager, the Heavy Equipment Technician is responsible for providing the maintenance and services needs of all Northern Mat & Bridge equipment.
Mat Plant Labourer
Reporting to the Plant Manager & Plant Supervisor, the Mat Plant Labourer is responsible for the production in their area of the mat plant facility.
Shuttle Operator – DZ License Required
Reporting to the Field Supervisor, the Shuttle Operator provides support in the field with a shuttle vehicle.
Field Supervisor
Reporting to the General Superintendent, the Field Supervisor leads and provides support in the field to assigned projects.
