We Predict... You Prevent -- Your Risk Management Experts

Jun 30, 2011
When a marriage takes place, you often hear the phrase “when two become one”. In a business relationship, however, two businesses sometimes decide to combine their strengths and form a third company. In many instances, both original businesses retain their original image, function and purpose and the new partnership becomes a vital service that combines the functions of the two original industries. That is what has happened here when we say that “Two become three…” as we announce the formation of Pepper Industrial Maintenance Group.

EMW Industrial is a company in Canada that began in 1973 as a local Saltcoats repair shop and has grown to cover all of Canada. Their purpose is to design, fabricate, install and maintain equipment safely for industrial and agribusiness clients. They are leaders in innovation and safety and provide services that will improve efficiency, conserve energy and contribute to the bottom line of their clients.

Pepper Maintenance Systems, Inc. began in 1997 in Central Illinois, originally specializing in infrared thermography to detect problems for predictive maintenance. It has grown to encompass many more services and the mission still is to provide that service, but Pepper now uses infrared thermography, vibration analysis, precision laser alignment and ultrasonic inspections to attain that goal. Fulfilling customer needs is their highest priority and by adhering to top industry standards, the goal of customer satisfaction is attained.

We are proud to announce our new business...Pepper Industrial Maintenance Group, whose face is represented at the left. It will provide predictive maintenance services to the industrial and agri-business industries in Western Canada using the tools that Pepper Maintenance uses in the USA— infrared thermography, vibration analysis, precision laser alignment and ultrasonic inspections. The new partnership will offer the additional service in the Western Canada area of repairing and maintaining equipment and machinery when problems are discovered through preventive maintenance services. This optional service will save Western Canadian customers time and preserve their asset health by doing many needed repairs immediately.

It will also improve the safety of their organization, maximize their uptime, extend the useful life of their equipment, minimize labor costs and improve their financial performance.

All technicians in both the USA and Canada are certified thermographers and vibration analysts. By joining forces as he
