Medisys Health Group Inc. celebrates its 30th anniversary by welcoming clients to new flagship clinic and head office in Montreal

MONTREAL, Nov. 6, 2017 – Medisys Health Group Inc. (“Medisys” or the “Company“), Canada’s leading provider of comprehensive, preventive and corporate health solutions, is proud to be celebrating its 30th year of providing the highest quality healthcare for clients across the country.  In honour of this milestone, Medisys is pleased to announce the opening of a new flagship clinic and head office in downtown Montreal.  Located just blocks away from its previous location, this new clinic is designed to continue to provide the same leading health services that the Company has become known for, including executive preventive health assessments, occupational health solutions, travel medicine, and specialist care.

 

In 1987, Dr. Sheldon Elman transformed his modest Montreal based family practice by changing the way healthcare was typically provided.  He set out to offer his clients unrushed, comprehensive services focused on prevention.  Today, Medisys has grown to be Canada’s largest corporate health provider with coast-to-coast operations.  The Company now has over 850 employees in 25 clinics and across 15 cities serving Canada’s largest companies, their executives, their employees and their families.

Located at 600 de Maisonneuve Blvd West, the new 26,000 square foot clinic spans two floors in one of Montreal’s largest towers.  The executive and preventive health clinic is located on the 21st floor, designed specifically for the Company’s preventive health services.  Operating under Medisys’ occupational health brand, Horizon Occupational Health Solutions, the 22nd floor is dedicated to occupational health services, travel health, and immigration medicals, designed to ensure clients will receive timely, quality and comfortable services.  The new clinic also enables the delivery of an even broader range of onsite medical services including cardiology, medical dermatology, aesthetic dermatology, psychology, and internal medicine.
