To Our Valued Customer,

I am pleased to announce that Mullen Group Ltd. of Okotoks, Alberta has signed an agreement to acquire Gardewine from TriWest Capital Partners, Calgary. This is very positive news for Gardewine and our customers.

Mullen Group Ltd. is a publicly traded company specializing in transportation and services to the oil and natural gas industry in western Canada and a supplier of trucking and logistics services. The company has 27 subsidiaries and employs over 6,000 employees.

Gardewine is company with a proud history of serving the communities of central and western Canada with a diversified offering of transportation services. Commencing operations in Flin Flon, Manitoba in 1952 Gardewine has grown significantly over the past 60 years, now offering general freight, dedicated, deck, bulk, and logistics services to over 5,000 customers from Quebec to British Columbia.

A team of 1,700 employees dedicated to servicing our valued customers makes Gardewine a terrific fit for Mullen, a company with similar beginnings, culture and reputation.

Under such agreements, the acquisition is still subject to a Competition Bureau review.

What does this mean for our customers?

Gardewine customers will notice very little change resulting from the Mullen acquisition.

Under the umbrella of Mullen Group Ltd., the Gardewine name we are so proud of and that is so well known in the communities we serve will remain. And under this acquisition, the executive team at Gardewine will remain in place.

The Mullen philosophy is that each business unit is operated as an independent subsidiary, with each accountable for its own results, returns on capital employed, and overall performance.

Our customers will continue to receive the same level of service they have come to expect from Gardewine and will now have the added benefit of Gardewine joining Mullen's extensive network of services and expertise.

At Gardewine our mission is to grow our business by fostering long-term mutually beneficial relationships with our people and our customers. We are proud of our past and excited about the future and continuing to work with all of our customers, demonstrating first hand, the Gardewine difference.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me at 204-631-3707, or alternatively Ryan Johnston, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at 204-631-3704.
