NATT Safety Services Takes Their Working at Heights Program to Southern Ontario

Jun 20, 2018
Sudbury, ON – June 20, 2018– Local safety training and rescue service provider, NATT Safety Services, is expanding their Working At Heights training program to now include training in Southern Ontario.

A partnership with Lifesaver 101 will see their CPO-approved Working At Heights program being offered in both Toronto and Pickering Lifesaver 101 locations (5324 Dundas Street West, Toronto and 1400 Baylet Street, Pickering).

“We’re really excited about our partnership with Lifesaver 101 and this opportunity to expand our Working At Heights training to Southern Ontario,” explains Mark Arnold, General Manager of NATT Safety Services, a division of TPS Group of Companies in Sudbury. “Being able to expand like this is amazing,” adds Arnold.

The Working At Heights training requirements came in to force in April 2015, requiring employers to ensure that workers on construction projects successfully complete a Working At Heights training program approved by the Chief Prevention Officer (CPO) and delivered by a CPO-approved training provider before they can use a method of fall protection.

Working at heights training is valid for three (3) years from the date of successful completion of an approved program. All learners who wish to maintain the validity of their working at heights training past this three year period need to successfully complete refresher training.

“Safety at work is our biggest priority and being able to reach more people to share our Working At Heights training means we’re helping more people, which feels great,” shares Arnold.
