New Order for Limestone Plant in Texas
MMD has won the order for a 2,500tph Semi-Mobile limestone crushing plant in Texas USA. It is the first of its kind to be delivered into Texas and consists of a 1000 Series Sizer and D7 Plate Feeder, due to be ready for a mid-2015 start-up.
Replacing an old static crusher, this modern all-electric powered Sizer plant is fed with Run of Mine Limestone by either trucks or front end loaders and produces a nominal product size of 10".
The Feeder/hopper and Sizer/discharge modules are skid mounted for ease of relocation, which is estimated to be every 2 months depending on the quarry's progress. The ability to move the sizing plant closer to the mine face provides shorter haulage distances, enhancing the effectiveness of the feeding equipment and improving efficiency and productivity through the system.
After visiting a number of existing applications in the US and Mexico, the client decided to go with what they considered as the best option available.
