Manitou Gold Inc.

Canamerica

May 26, 2020
        LOCATION
  • Located within the Boyer Lake Area, Turtlepond Lake Area and the Harper Lake Area, 35 kilometres south of Dryden.
  • 26 non-contiguous unpatented claims in two separate blocks, known as the Canamerica Main Block (13 claims) and the Canamerica 502 Block (13 claims).  The two blocks encompass 4,400 hectares and are separated by the Kenwest Property.

        GEOLOGY
  • Located along the northeastern portion of the Manitou Straits Deformation Zone and the south limb of the Manitou Antiform.
  • Gold associated with felsic dykes, quartz veins, and sheared volcanic rocks.
  • Adjacent to the Kenwest and Elora properties, the combined holdings encompass an 800 m wide zone, which contains a number of highly prospective gold bearing structures.  A 4.5 kilometre long section of favorable structures hosts the three past producing mines and nine other shafts with unreported production. The high density of shafts in this area is a very positive indicator of the exploration potential.

        HISTORICAL

  • Five historical (1896-1904) shafts, Quackenbush, Little Master, Imperial, Volcanic Reef and Last Chance are located on the property in addition to numerous gold showings.
  • In 1987, CanAmerica Precious Metals Inc. completed a diamond drill program consisting of 15 holes (766 metres).  The majority of the holes were testing a gold bearing felsic dyke.

        EXPLORATION PROGRAM AND ASSAY HIGHLIGHTS
  • Prospecting, mapping, line cutting, channel sampling, ground magnetometer and induced polarization surveys
  • 15 DDH (2,514 metres) on the Canamerica Main block
  • 14 DDH (2,391 metres) on the Canamerica 502 block
  • 502 Block 2010 summer prospecting program located a shaft sunk on a quartz vein system believed to be the Volcanic Reef prospect.  Prospecting grab samples from this quartz vein returned values ranging from 2.6 g/t Au up to 168.5 g/t Au
  • 502 Block 2012 DDH Assay results returned values of up to 50.6 g/t Au over a core length of 1.0 metre in DDH 502-10-03.  This intersection occurred in a wider 4.0 metre intersection of 12.69 g/t Au
