ALS Gladstone Environmental appoints Environmental Services Representative

ALS is pleased to announce the appointment of Brock McDonald to the ALS Gladstone Environmental office taking on the role of Environmental Services Representative – Gladstone.

Brock has been a Central Queensland local for more than thirty years, was raised in the Raglan/Mt Larcom area and has most recently been living and working in the Emerald area. He has a background in Aeronautical engineering and Natural Resource Management with a Bachelor of Environmental Science from Central Queensland University.
 
With his move to Gladstone, Brock’s primary responsibilities will be to service needs of clients in the Gladstone region and provide logistical support for the transportation of samples to the ALS Environmental Laboratories.
 
Brock’s other, but no less important, areas of responsibility will be:
• The provision of sample containers and eskies
• The provision of quotations to clients
• Assistance with technical and analytical queries
• A local resource for project planning and scheduling
 
The ALS Environmental Services Office in Gladstone will also continue to act as a convenient drop off point for samples requiring environmental analysis. Please feel free to contact Brock or visit the office using the contact details below.

Laboratory Assistant

The Lab Assistant is responsible for preparing environmental samples for extraction including maintaining adequate production, quality control and turnaround times.
Sample Preparation Technician

Within the Sample Preparation Department, the Sample Preparation Technician will work with client samples and prepare them for analysis in our labs.
Lab Assistant

The Laboratory Assistant will provide support for routine sample analysis following prescribed standard operating procedures.
Peace River Manager

Responsibilities include implementing the corporate direction, vision and goals as well as overseeing the day to day operations of the laboratory operations.
Laboratory Assistant
Full training is provided. The Laboratory Assistant will assist with basic laboratory functions, such as preparing
client samples for analysis and routine lab maintenance.
