MPH Ventures Corp. has assembled three gold projects in and around the City of Timmins, including one in the active West Timmins area.

MPH is a diversified molybdenum and gold exploration and development company with multiple projects centrally located throughout Northern Ontario.

MPH owns 100% of six non-contiguous gold exploration properties comprised of approximately 735 hectares. These properties are located throughout various mineral rich mining camps and include the Godfrey Gold Property in West Timmins, the Raney project and the grass roots exploration Big Mac, Geneva Lake, Shining Gold and Gould Gold properties.

MPH has acquired 100% interest in three contiguous gold exploration properties referred to as the Godfrey Gold Property comprised of approximately 700 acres located in Godfrey and Bristol Townships, Timmins Mining Division.

The Godfrey property is located 20 km west of the centre of Timmins, and nine km northwest of Lakeshore Gold’s Timmins Mine. The property covers several historical gold occurrences. Previous operators exposed a 125 metre long trench within a highly altered felsic intrusion, multiple quartz veins and shear structures contain pyrite, chalcopyrite, galena and visible gold with grab sample assay results up to 429 grams/tonne gold (13.8 oz/ton Au).

The West Timmins area is the western extension of the Timmins Gold Camp and has increasingly become the focus of exploration and discovery activities in the camp.

Commencing with the discovery of the Golden River Trend in 1996 by West Timmins Mining Inc. (now owned by Lake Shore Gold Corp.), there have been a series of significant gold discoveries in West Timmins.

The Raney property is located in Raney Township, approximately 110 km southwest of Timmins. To date, fourteen diamond drill holes have been completed on the project. Significant gold intersections include 7.7 g/t Au over 6.8 metres, 6.5 g/t Au over 8.0 metres, and 3.5 g/t Au over 6.8 metres.

On Nov. 27, MPH announced that it has filed a National Instrument 43-101 Technical Report for its 1,408 hectare Raney Property.

The Report recommends a two phase exploration program to further evaluate the Raney Township Gold property. The proposed budget for both phases is $406,725.

The Shining Gold Property consists of one staked claim containing nine units (144 hectares) and is located approximately 125 km south of Timmins. Access to the property is by paved roads from either Timmins or Sudbury, followed by two km of bush road.

The property is in the Shining Tree Gold Camp that has been active since the turn of the 20th century. Similar to the Timmins area, the gold deposits are quartz-carbonate lodes that follow the dominant rock fabric.

The company also owns 50% of the 7,000 acres Heyson gold property with Skyharbour Resources Ltd. owning the other 50% . The property lies in the southern portion of the central Red Lake Gold Belt, five km south of the operating Goldcorp Red Lake Mine.

MPH Ventures has identified a large, well-defined “gold-in-till” anomaly on the Heyson property. The width of the anomaly covers 350 metres along a strike length of 1.5 km.

The company has acquired the Pidgeon Molybdenum Deposit in Northwestern Ontario from BHP Billiton and Goldcorp with a significant NI 43-101 molybdenum resource. The property is accessible year round and development plans include increasing the resource base, conducting regional exploration and carrying out metallurgical testing for recovery of molybdenum and by-products.
