Proax Technologies Acquires Systematic Fluid Power

Feb 7, 2020
For the past several months Proax Technologies Ltd and Systematic Fluid Power Ltd (SFP) have been in discussions to determine the feasibility of forming a strategic partnership. Today we are pleased to announce that we have concluded an agreement and it is with great excitement that we can now announce that Proax will assume full ownership of Systematic Fluid Power effective February 1, 2020.

Systematic Fluid Power Ltd is a technical distributor of automation and motion control products.  Similar to Proax, they take a technical approach to solving the challenges customers face and offer a range of standard and non-standard automation products.  Systematic Fluid Power has a high reputation for its quality of service and is a great fit for the Proax family; we felt their dedication to excellent customer service reflected well with our own values and goals.

This is a very strategic acquisition as it will increase our presence in the Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph region. We are working on enhancing our ability to serve our customers in this region and to provide the most advanced product offering and technical automation solutions to our combined customers.

We want to ensure that the excellent customer service and quality products that SFP has provided to the customers in the past will continue. We are dedicated to maintaining the staff and providing our support and assistance during this transition.

Proax Technologies has offices across Canada and is proud to represent world-class manufacturers in the industrial automation field. This allows us to offer customers the best possible products and solutions. With our highly trained staff, Proax offers top customer service, technical support and fast response time.

Over the next few months, we will be getting to know our new customers. We look forward to the opportunity to better understand their needs and answer any questions. For your convenience, we have included a Q & A document that addresses some of the questions we felt you might have concerning this acquisition.

We do not expect any major changes with existing lines and are working on expanding the current line with complementary products to help better serve our clients. We will be in discussions with our key vendors in the next few months; more information will follow.

What can our customers expect?

For Systematic Fluid Power customers, we look forward to maintaining the high level of service and working with the Systematic Fluid Power staff to introduce new complementary products and services.

How about Purchasing?

Systematic Fluid Power will continue to operate as a separate entity and will complete its own purchasing with the assistance from S.B.
