Is your Sprinkler System Ready for Winter

Dec 24, 2015

Some sprinkler systems need help to ensure they’ll function properly when winter comes.

Antifreeze has been used effectively for over 70 years in sprinkler systems that are exposed to freezing temperatures. However, recent changes to National Fire Protection Association standards (including NFPA 13, 13R, 13D, and 25, as of March 2011) limit the allowable concentrations of antifreeze used in all sprinkler systems – including existing ones.
