TESC WELCOMES OUR STRATEGIC BUSINESS UNIT MANAGER IN SASKATCHEWAN

To effectively meet the needs of our clients, TESC is growing! As such, it is with great pleasure we announce Ron Gilmour to the team!

 

Ron Gilmour recently joined the Saskatchewan office as Strategic Business Unit (SBU) Manager, Saskatchewan. Ron is serving as an integral member of the Management Team, developing and implementing the SBU’s operational strategies in alignment with the organization’s strategic goals.

 

Ron played a key role coordinating on site construction activities with multiple contractors for the development of a pea processing facility for Alawa Foods Inc. He was influential in the administration of construction contracts and implementing an effective communication plan for the construction of a new potash mine for BHP Billiton.

 

Upon completion of a Chemical Engineering Technology Diploma with Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, Ron gained over 30 years of industry experience in process technology, construction management, project management, shop management, estimating, and contract administration. Prior to TESC, Ron was employed as Contracts/Construction Manager and Contracts Manager with Frontline Industrial Solutions, as Project Manager with CIMS Limited Partnership, as Project Lead with Prince Albert Pulp Inc., as Construction Manager and Project Manager with Kamtech Services, as Fabrication Shop Manager with Kamtech Fabricators, and he assumed various roles with Weyerhaeuser Canada Ltd.

 

Ron’s demonstrated leadership and strong values for safety are already proving to be great additions to the organization.
