The coronavirus COVID-19 has expanded to every country around the world. BDI has taken steps everywhere to
maintain our supply chain for our products. Our products are made not only in the USA-but most every part of the
world. No area has been untouched by this coronavirus.
 
Our Service Teams are distributed to many locations to service you where you are. These distributed Teams will
continue to service you through sales representative visits, customer service representatives, product specialists-with
regular deliveries and savings in inventory, costs and productivity. These Teams are directed to work with you as you
want during this virus recovery period. To what extent can we continue to work with your maintenance, purchasing
and production teams in your facilities? What is the alternative cadence of service you require? Do you have special
requirements during this period?
 
As a contingency, we strongly suggest that we collaborate on your current purchasing cycles to make inventory
available in your facilities in the event that business activities are shut down by local, state or national governments
that may be out of our mutual control. We recommend that at least one (1) month of products be provided locally in
your plant(s). Our local Teams, or me personally, will work with you to set those local levels of critical inventory and
the monthly or more cadence of replenishment.
 
There is no need to change how you work with BDI today in your order and fulfillment process. Service is also
available on our ecommerce BDIExpress site. You can check our product stocks, buy online (through punchout or
other linked method), check all of your orders, quotations and purchase history (online and off-line), look up
products, use your internal part numbers, print invoices, research products, evaluate product substitutions and have
access to our Products and Solutions Knowledge Base.

BDI-China is back to full operations. Areas of North America and Europe are seeing localized restrictions or closures.
Because of our global footprint, we continue to maintain open supply chain for our products. BDI is working with our
supplier partners in all countries to identify and correct any gaps.

Expeditor

The Expeditor is responsible for the planning and procurement of products to minimize obsolescence and overstock situations while achieving maximum customer service levels. 

Belt Technician

The Belt Technician will perform a variety of duties to customize heavy duty belts and rubber components to customer specifications. 

Accounts Payable Specialist

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate records of supplier invoices and accounts, as well as the proper assignments of disbursements to the appropriate cost center.
