Vale opens consultation to identify priority issues for transparency in corporate sustainability

Committed to continuously improving accountability to society, in 2020 Vale launches a new process to update its materiality matrix. This broad consultation with the company's audiences, also called stakeholders, aims to prioritize aspects of sustainability related to operations to guide the preparation of the Sustainability Report and other mechanisms for transparency and disclosure of corporate information.
 
To listen to its stakeholders, Vale prepared a brief online questionnaire. The survey will be available until the end of October. Do not miss the opportunity to contribute with your opinion in this consultation. The questionnaire is short, with an estimated completion time of 6 minutes.
 
The responses will be analyzed statistically and combined with benchmark assessments and analyzes of sustainability benchmarks. The themes defined at the end of this process will be the main subjects of the next Sustainability Report, to be released in 2021.
