VF Ranks No. 23 on “Most Admired for HR” List

Dec 16, 2015

VF is a company of powerful brands and powerful platforms that has grown over the years, thanks to one powerful asset – VF associates. Today, Human Resource Executive® (HRE) has recognized VF’s investment in its people, ranking the company No. 23 on its "Most Admired for HR" list.

Each year, HRE and Hay Group, a global management consulting group, develop the Most Admired for HR list, through additional study and analysis of Fortune’s “World’s Most Admired Companies” on four HR-specific criteria – people management, innovation, product/service quality and management quality.

VF’s ranking is a reflection of the company’s commitment to be an “employer of choice” by acquiring, developing and retaining world-class talent, driving global workforce connectivity and productivity, and advocating a global culture of integrity and respect.

“Our greatest asset is our people so we invest the time and resources to develop our associates,” said Anita Graham, Vice President, Global Human Resources at VF. “We are always looking for new and better ways to keep our talented associates aligned and engaged with our business strategies, and to offer them opportunities to learn and grow in what they do each and every day.  We believe every single associate has potential to make a difference for VF.”

With a global workforce of more than 60,000 associates, VF focuses on fostering a diverse and inclusive environment where its people can thrive. The company is proud to be recognized by HRE on its efforts to provide a great environment for associates.

“We often think of VF as having 30+ micro environments. Each of our brands and offices has its own unique culture, something that keeps the brands authentically grounded with their consumers,” said Graham. “We embrace this diversity – as our One VF model helps us leverage our strengths across the organization, share best practices and ultimately, provides VF with a unique competitive advantage.”
